Burlington Coat Factory inked a lease for 40k SF at the retail component of the mixed-use One Bellevue Place, which is being developed by Charlotte-based Crosland Southeast and equity partner Branch Properties. The retailer is the fifth to join the Bellevue development, along with a Carmike movie theater, Sprouts Farmers Market, Panera and Chili's.

The development is a rare example of Metro government aiding a project not in the city center, since it will spur the revitalization of a site that's been largely dormant since the mall there closed eight years ago, the Nashville Business Journal reports. Ultimately, the project will include a 337-unit apartment building, a 111-room Home2 Suites hotel, as much as 350k SF of office space and 350k SF of retail, restaurant and entertainment space. [NBJ]
