MedEquities Realty Trust Prices IPO

Nashville-based MedEquities Realty Trust has priced its initial public offering of shares at $12 to $14, a major step toward the REIT's listing on the NYSE. The company, which owns 24 properties totaling more than 2,300 beds, is marketing 19 million shares as part of the offering.

At the midpoint of the price range, MedEquities would raise $247M, the Nashville Post reports. It's also possible that underwriters will exercise their over-allotment option, and in that case the IPO will raise another $36M. The offering is led by Friedman Billings Ramsey, JPMorgan, Citigroup and KeyBanc Capital Markets; the underwriter group also includes Capital One Securities, Fifth Third Securities, Raymond James, RBC Capital Markets and JMP Securities.
