The Hayden In Playa Vista Taking Shape

Exterior construction will soon be completed on Harley Ellis Devereaux's newest Playa Vista project, the 125-unit Type V workforce housing development called Hayden.

Planned and designed by Harley Ellis Devereaux, the four-story condos over bermed parking were initially begun by Brookfield Residential and then sold to KB Home, according to HED development guru Roy Reel.

They are controlled-price units aimed at first-time homebuyers who work within five miles of Playa Vista.

At Westlawn Avenue and Bluff Creek Drive on a 1.24-acre site, the townhomes average about 800 SF and will start from the mid-$400Ks.

There is a waiting list of more than 1,000 prospective buyers for Hayden at Playa Vista, which is part of the developer’s approved master plan agreement with the city, according to Reel.
