Snapchat To Lease Space At Santa Monica Airport

Tech company Snapchat is expanding, signing a $3M lease for almost 80k SF at the Santa Monica Airport.

Snapchat has two office buildings on Donald Douglas Loop North totaling 70,473 SF, as well as 8,900 SF in eight hangars.

The lease is good for a minimum of five years, according to Curbed.

Rents will range from $2.9M to $3.2M a year for the property, which is city-owned. Snapchat plans to make improvements to the buildings, totaling at least $1.4M.

The terms of the lease begin in June and will run through December 2021. [Curbed]
