Former GM Regional HQ Hits the Market

Lee & Associates-LA North/Ventura principal Mark Leonard (right with former HPP president Howard Stern) tells us renovations are nearly complete on the former General Motors regional HQ at 515 Marin St in Thousand Oaks. Now marketed as Valle Vista, the 66k SF office has never been offered up for lease before this. Owner Nearon Enterprises picked the property up last June and has since installed a new roof and air conditioning system and renovated the common areas, including an open concept lobby with a staircase leading to the upper floors.

Here's Nearon president Tony Perino and CFO Blaine Emmons. Tony says the design upgrades should position the property as a landmark property for the Conejo Valley. Mark tells us he's got a national staffing agency looking at the building, in addition to some legal, finance and tech users.

The four-story building is available in its entirety or divisible down to 2,700 SF. It's walking distance to the The Oaks Mall and dozens of other retail and hospitality amenities. The property was constructed as a build-to-suit for General Motors’ regional HQ in 1982, and GM had leased the property as the building’s sole tenant since. Sharing the listing with Mark are Lee VPs Cory Richmond and Jared Smits.
