Chase Plaza Sells For $50M To Family Investment Group

The Chase Plaza in Bunker Hill was just sold for $50M, or around $540/SF.

A family investment group in LA, headed by Macy Lai, bought the 15-story building at 888 West 6th St.

It was sold by a partnership led by New York City’s Somerset Group, the LA Times reports.

The deal, which closed last Thursday, marks the highest price paid per SF in the last decade for an office in DTLA, CBRE Group’s Phillip Sample told the Times.

The building used to be known as Linder Plaza.

The family investment group intends to hold onto the property for the long term. [LAT]
