Fashion District May Get Huge Residential Tower

The Fashion District may get a new high-rise.

A JV between LA’s Urban Offerings and Newport Beach’s Realm Group are proposing building a 370-foot, 33-story residential tower at the corner of 7th and Maple streets.

It would include 452 residential units with 19 of them being live/work lofts, and rooftop amenity decks, according to Urbanize LA.

Dallas’ Humphreys & Partners Architects would design the project, which features a landscaped pedestrian paseo, a dog park, swimming pool and a barbecue space on the upper levels. There would also be a skyline observation space and greenery around the building’s amenity decks.

Urban Offerings and the Realm Group also are designing a City West high-rise project at Bixel and Ingraham streets. [ULA]
