WeWork to Lease 90k SF in Downtown Los Angeles

WeWork is close to signing a lease that will increase its presence in the area, as the co-working company is expected to take over roughly 90k SF at the Gas Co Tower, a 1.3M SF Class-A office building at 555 W Fifth St in Downtown. WeWork has several locations in Los Angeles, including 44,500k SF in the Fine Arts Building at 811 W Seventh St. The company signed its first lease in the area in 2011 and has plans in the works for a 30k SF location in Santa Monica, reports the Los Angeles Business Journal. [LABJ]
