The View From OUE's New 70th Floor Glass Slide

We snapped billionaire Stephen Riady, executive chairman of Singapore-based OUE, with Los Angeles deputy mayor Raymond Chan on Friday evening at the grand reopening of OUE's US Bank Tower after renovation of its large lobby and other elements, as well as the unveiling of its new 70th floor observatory.

The observatory, dubbed Skyspace, is known for the exterior glass slide between the 70th and 69th floors.

With a crane still guiding its progress, the Wilshire Grand Center (1,100 feet) will eventually rise even higher than US Bank Tower (1,018 feet).
