In the never-ending saga surrounding the NFL returning to LA, it looks as if the San Diego Chargers will stay put for now.
Team officials have announced the Chargers will not leave San Diego for next season, but the team also agreed to possibly share the Inglewood NFL stadium with the LA Rams, according to USA Today.
The deadline for the Chargers to make a final decision about a definitive move to LA is Jan. 15, 2017.
That could be extended to 2018 depending on whether a referendum to approve funding for a new San Diego stadium is approved before November. [USAT]
