The upscale grocer has grabbed more than half of the newly built Freeway Springs Logistics Center in a deal valued at more than $20M. Gelson's will use the facility as a warehouse and distribution hub. The new facility is located at 13833 Freeway Dr, adjacent to I-5. As part of the long-term lease, the company will occupy 30k SF of office space for corporate staff. The Colliers team of senior EVP Stephen Calhoun, SVP Craig Stevens and senior associate Tyler Stevens repped Gelson's. Stephen, along with senior EVP Clyde Stauff and SVP Christopher Sheehan repped developer and owner Golden Springs Development.
