Construction Set To Begin On MyFigueroa

Construction is scheduled to start next month for the Figueroa Corridor's new look.

The LA Department of Transportation made the announcement last week about the upcoming work on the $20M project.

Development has moved ahead despite an appeal three years ago by an owner of some car dealerships in DTLA with concerns about its impact on area businesses.

The project will include bike lanes, landscaping, new bus platforms and other improvements between DTLA and Exposition Park. It is expected to be completed in 2017. [ULA]
