Folksin Brentwood may have noticed that their friendly neighborhood Vons Pavilions supermarket has closed, without leaving a forwarding address. (We snapped this on the store's last day.) The upscale sister ofVons grocery storesis an integral part of the Landmark II office property on Wilshire Boulevard. A rep from owner Douglas Emmett tells us the supermarket's lease runs through the end of 2014 and all options are being considered. Meanwhile, a leasing agent with the firm doesn't expect the store's closing to negatively affect the office tower, which is 89% leased.
