Sweaty Betty Opens Its First Store In The City

Sweaty Betty is opening its first store in in the city. The leading women’s activewear brand signed a 10-year lease for a bit over 1k SF at One New Change, a premium shopping destination in the Square Mile (with a sixth-floor roof terrace with the best view of St. Paul’s Cathedral in the entire city).

This will be the brand's 44th shop in the UK, and 20th location in Greater London. Colliers Central London retail agency associate director Sara Law says her company advised Sweaty Betty on several of its new stores over the years, including Redchurch Street in Shoreditch and the opening of its flagship stop on Marylebone High Street.

Established 18 years ago, Sweaty Betty pioneered the athletic-leisure sector and is Lululemon’s main competitor.
