Willmott Dixon will construct Bristol’s first commercial space to be certified BREEAM 2014 Outstanding. Developer Cubex appointed the firm to deliver the Aurora Office Development at its Finzels Reach development, a £250M mixed-use regeneration scheme in central Bristol.

The project is the latest low-carbon milestone for the company, which recently completed three high-profile sustainable projects.

The building, near Temple Meads railway station and Cabon Circus shopping centre, will provide 95k SF of Grade-A office space on the Floating Harbour. Aurora will be the area’s first new development in several years.

The seven-storey Aurora building includes a glass atrium, basement car and bicycle parking, and a link to the Grade II listed Generator Building, adjacent. The building will complete to shell, core and CAT A stage by the end of 2017.
