Thor Equities Expands European Portfolio With Prime London Purchase

New York-based Thor Equities expanded its European portfolio with a recent acquisition in Mayfair. The company, along with partner Chenavari Investment Managers, splashed down £42.7M on a 23k SF corner property at 1 Dover St, across the street from The Ritz and near Claridge’s and The Dorchester.

The six-story building is a former hotel with retail on the ground floor, office space, and a top-floor penthouse apartment in addition to a basement night club. Thor Equities will refurbish and reposition the property, according to Commercial Property Executive.

Thor Equities owns several buildings in London, all in prime central areas like Oxford Street and Mayfair. [CPE]
