The Leadenhall Building is now fully leased.
Current tenants Kames Capital, MS Amlin and Rothesay Life leased up the remaining three floors, with two of the three transactions completing since the Brexit vote.
Kames Capital occupies the entire 26th floor and recently signed an 11-year lease for 7k SF on the 43rd floor—the highest availability.
MS Amlin expanded its space on the 27th floor to 13k SF.
Rothesay Life, currently resident on the 25th floor, snapped up all 11k SF on the 32nd floor. The specialist insurer, which is owned by Goldman Sachs, Blackstone, GIC and MassMutual, will occupy 25k SF across its two floors.
The Leadenhall Building—more commonly called The Cheesegrater—was designed by Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners and provides 610k SF over 45 floors. It has attracted the highest rents ever paid in the City of London, and was the office building winner at this month's New London Architecture Awards.
Oxford Properties, which owns the building with British Land, plans to add a new restaurant and retail to the iconic property in 2017.
