PROSKAUER SAYS 'YES'

The courtship of Proskauer Rose has finally paid off for Eleven Times Square. The venerable law firm has committed to a 14-floor,400k-SF lease at Midtown's new trophy building for its NY HQ.
We snapped SJP Properties' building in between raindrops yesterday. Proskauer plans to move early next year, and will have a 50' X 20' backlit sign that'll make it the first law firm in NY to have its name prominently displayed at the top of its HQ. The FXFOWLE-designed tower is also pursuing LEED Gold, and Proskauer expects that its space will receive similar certification, making it one of the largest LEED Gold law firm offices in the US. CBRE's Steve Siegel repped the landlord, while CB's Michael Geoghegan and Stuart Eisenkraft repped the tenant. Proskauer partner Ronald Sernau, who co-chairs the firm's RE department, also led in-house negotiations.
