Uptown Park has signed two tenants, boutique fitness concept Revolution Studio and furniture design showroom Ethan Allen, according to a release. Since acquiring the property in 2015, Edens has focused on enhancing the placemaking at the 160-acre property in the Galleria area.

"We know Uptown Park serves as a hub for the best shopping and dining available in Houston and the redevelopment completion creates a vibrant and better-connected environment for our community,” Edens Managing Director Tom Kiler said in the release. “We are thrilled to bring new concepts to Uptown and expand the neighborhood’s options in our re-energized, pedestrian-friendly district."

Ethan Allen will relocate its existing Galleria-area Design Center to Uptown Park. Opening in the fall, the 12K SF property will have an array of vignettes, touch screens and workstations where Ethan Allen designers partner with clients utilizing 3D space planning. The national furniture provider has been locally owned and operated by the Chesnick family for over 50 years.

Houston-based Revolution Studio is a fitness studio that offers yoga, cycle and strength classes. Uptown Park marks the fourth Houston-area location. The 3,400 SF fitness boutique will have 56 bikes in a stadium-style cycle room with an adjacent studio.

“Our clients have long asked us to open a studio closer to the Uptown neighborhood,” Revolution Studio owner Kim Syma said. “Partnering with Edens and bringing our high-energy cycle, creative Vinyasa yoga, and [high-intensity interval training] strength classes to Uptown Park will offer convenient access to over 75 classes a week at Houston’s most sought-after fitness studio.”

Since launching its redevelopment plan in March 2018, Edens has added a number of new retailers and restaurants at Uptown Park.

Recently signed tenants include Rejuvenation, a Williams-Sonoma home decor company; Flower Child, an Arizona-based health-food restaurant by Fox Restaurant Concepts; and Mendocino Farms, a Southern California-based fast-casual concept. Rejuvenation and Flower Child are open, while Mendocino Farms will open this fall. After being in operation for more than 10 years, Uptown Sushi underwent a complete renovation and reopened in February.
