Already very active in the industrial and office markets, today NAI Partners announced it has hired retail veteran Jason Gaines as SVP to develop and lead its newly reinstated retail division. Rounding out NAI's retail services line is Hannah Kaplan, joining NAI as an associate.

As the retail division leader, Jason will initially focus on the Houston market; however, he will move into building and leading both the Austin and San Antonio markets as well.

Both pros come from Hunington Properties, where Jason led a third-party leasing platform of more than 150 retail properties in the Houston market, totaling more than 3M SF. Additionally, he has extensive experience in asset management; prior to Hunington Properties, he managed a portfolio of 26 investment-grade properties totaling more than 3.8M SF throughout Texas.

Although relatively new to the industry, Hannah has hit the ground running, completing more than 60 retail transactions totaling 150k SF in her young career.
