Shake Shack has its second Houston location lined up.
Trademark Property Co announced Thursday that Shake Shack will take over La Madeleine's space in Rice Village, the Houston Business Journal reports. Set to open in late 2017, it will join the location previously announced for The Galleria Mall opening later this year.
New York City restaurateur Danny Meyer opened Shake Shack as a food cart inside Madison Square Park in New York in 2000. The unique fast-casual burger stand, known for its angus beef burgers and frozen custard shakes, has since become one of the fastest-growing fast food chains, now with 66 locations across the US.
