What You Need To Know About TxDOT's $815M Highway 288 Project Starting Today

TxDOT's $815M project on Highway 288 is breaking ground today. The state will be adding two new toll lanes in each direction between US 59 and the Harris County line, about a 10-mile stretch. The project also includes direct connectors at Beltway 8, the 610 Loop and the TMC. TxDOT selected Blueridge Transportation Group to develop the project and Almeda-Genoa Constructors as the lead contractor. Construction is expected to be completed by summer 2019.
