After years of preparation, the Super Bowl is finally here. The fun is not just for visitors with a ticket to the big game. Nearly every inch of the city is getting in on the action over the course of the next week. Here's your guide to not missing a single moment.

Super Bowl Live!

The main attraction outside the game itself is Super Bowl Live, held at Discovery Green from Jan. 28 to Feb. 5. The free festival includes booths from Houston's top institutions (like the Texas Medical Center), food from Houston's best food trucks, and plenty of rides and attractions. Don't miss NASA's Future Flight thrill ride.

The NFL Experience

Starting Feb. 1, serious football fans can enjoy the NFL Experience at the George R. Brown Convention Center featuring interactive rides, youth football clinics, player autograph sessions and, best of all, the Vince Lombardi Trophy.

Super Bowl Opening Night

On Jan. 30, things are officially kicking off at Minute Maid Park, where both teams and coaches will attend the opening ceremony televised on NFL Network. Fans can buy tickets to the event, which will feature a performance from X Ambassadors and an appearance by pro football Hall of Famer Warren Moon.

The Lounge At Houston House

Business professionals have a unique opportunity to network while enjoying drinks and snacks on the patio of the Partnership Tower. From Feb. 1 to 4, you can join the Greater Houston Partnership to learn more about business opportunities in Houston.

Taste The NFL

On Feb. 4 from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., the University of Houston is hosting a nonprofit event to raise awareness and funds for hunger relief organizations across the NFL's 31 cities.

Super Bowl Breakfast

The Marriott Marquis is hosting the Super Bowl Breakfast on Feb. 4. It will be emceed by James Brown, host of "The NFL Today" and Thursday Night Football, and will include the presentation of the 2017 Bart Starr Award. Numerous former NFL stars will be in attendance.

Club Cle' Big Game Weekend

Club Cle’ in Downtown Houston has announced a big game weekend celebration for Super Bowl LI with the world's most popular DJs, including Vice, Tiesto, Skrillex, DJ Snake and an after-hours party on Feb. 5 with Nightmare.

Rolling Stone Live

The Museum of Fine Arts Houston will host Diplo and Nas on Feb. 4 for Rolling Stone's Big Game Weekend.

Club Nomadic

The 62k SF pop-up nightclub will be the talk of the town. Located at Sawyer Yards in the Washington Avenue Arts District, two miles from Downtown Houston, the venue will host massive performances by Sam Hunt, Bruno Mars and Taylor Swift.

The Big TEXAS Party

CultureMap, ESPN Radio and SB Nation are combining to throw one big party on Thursday, Feb. 2, at Silver Street Studios. Hosted by Ed "Too Tall" Jones and Randy White, the party promises to celebrate all thing Texas with plenty of beer, BBQ and bourbon.
