Hicks Ventures purchased Two Westlake Park, a 455k SF tower in the Energy Corridor. Founder Pat Hicks tells us it’s a great building with great tenants (it’s 100% leased) in a great submarket—a pretty strong trifecta when you’re buying buildings. The 17-story facility was built in ’82 by Hines and designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill. Hicks will manage and lease the property. HFF’s Danny Miller and Trent Agnew handled the sale for KBS Capital Advisors. Pat’s been building up a strong presence in the Energy Corridor; just in May, he bought 16900 Park Row.
