As if Spaces and WeWork were not enough to compete with local concepts, New York-based Industrious is headed to Dallas. The co-working company will lease 23k SF in One Arts Plaza later this summer.
The firm — which has locations in New York, Nashville, Los Angeles and elsewhere — will open at Billingsley’s One Arts Plaza in the Arts District. This will be the second Texas spot for the hospitality-focused workspace, after opening in Austin last fall.
Billingsley had been looking at co-working spaces for years, partner Lucy Billingsley said in a statement. She said Industrious’ brand blended well with One Arts Plaza. The space will have between 70 and 80 private offices with 24-hour access.
Individual memberships run $450/person and all members will have access to printing, mail services, conference services and fiber internet.
"We try hard to toe the line between fun and creative, and professional and elegant. The Arts District is Dallas' best expression of that mix,” Industrious CEO Jamie Hodari said.
One Arts’ 24-story office structure is the first of three buildings on its site. The $125M development has outdoor entertainment, green space, retail and four restaurants: Tei-An, Jorge’s, Proof + Pantry and Yolk.
