Is Ross Tower Sold? Sources Tell Us Not Yet

Rumors are rampant that Ross Tower (500 N Akard, the former Lincoln Tower) has been sold to a JV of Bandera Partners and Second City Real Estate, but sources close to the deal deny that a sale has been made. Another source tells us that word on the street is it's under contract. Ross Tower was rebranded and modernized last year and parking was improved to a 3:1,000 ratio. The property is being marketed by HFF on behalf of CalSTRS. The building is valued by the Dallas Central Appraisal District at about $75M. [DMN][DBJ]
