Heritage Creekside inked two new regional restaurants. The Flying Fish and Rodeo Goat Ice House will open later this year in Rosewood Property’s development northeast of the intersection of U.S. 75 and George Bush Turnpike.
Both concepts come from Shannon Wynne, the restaurant brain behind Mudhen, Lark on the Park, Meddlesome Moth, The Flying Saucer and 8.0 Restaurant & Bar.
The Flying Fish will serve up catfish, crab, shrimp, salmon, trout and more with beer, wine and margaritas. It will join sister locations in Addison, Arlington, Dallas, Fort Worth and Garland.
Rodeo Goat already operates in Dallas and Fort Worth. The third location will have all the same burgers and beers North Texans have come to know.
The Hunt family (H.L. Hunt, Caroline Hunt, Margaret Hunt Hill and relatives) has owned the property for more than 50 years. Caroline Hunt Trust Estate’s The Rosewood Corp broke ground on the 156-acre mixed-use project in April 2015.
The first phase of 46 acres is under construction. More restaurant announcements are expected soon, Rosewood Property president Bill Flaherty said in a statement.
At build-out, Heritage Creekside will have 1,300 multifamily units, hundreds of townhomes, retail and up to 2.5M SF of office.
Development partners include Gateway Planning Group, Stantec, GFF and Horsley Witten Group.
