Get a Look at Cowboys World HQ Hotel Rendering

Omni Hotels & Resorts unveiled the rendering and design for the 16-story Omni Frisco Hotel at the Dallas Cowboys world HQ in The Star development. The hotel will feature 300 guest rooms with a fine dining venue, a lobby coffee and wine bar, and a rooftop pool, bar and grill. The hotel will also have a luxury retail outlet featuring unique finds made by local designers, as well as artwork—including sketches of Cowboys Ring of Honor inductees. On the fourth floor, the rooftop pool and deck can accommodate 300 to 400 guests and has views of the plaza and The Ford Center. The deck also features three fire pits, cabanas, and a bar and grill. Here’s Dallas Cowboys owner/GM Jerry Jones, Omni Hotels & Resorts owner TRT Holdings chairman Robert Rowling and Frisco Mayor Maher Maso at the unveiling.

Rendering of The Star in Frisco

The hotel (rendered here) will feature 24k SF of meeting space, including a 13k SF ballroom. Set to open in early summer 2017, the luxury hotel will serve as a cornerstone of The Star development, which will be anchored by the Dallas Cowboys world HQ and The Ford Center. The Cowboys new HQ facilities will be home to the entire football operations, including administrative offices, coaches’ offices and the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders. The Ford Center will be possibly the country's largest indoor stadium for amateur football with seating for 12,000 and will serve as both the home venue for Frisco Independent School District for events and activities, and the practice and training facility for the Cowboys. Development of The Star began in summer 2014 when the Dallas Cowboys broke ground on a 90-acre site at the northwest corner of Warren Parkway and the Dallas North Tollway in Frisco. Planned uses for the development also include additional corporate offices, retail and restaurants.
