Methodist Surgery Center To Lease Part Of Empty Craig Ranch Hospital

The former Victory Medical Center Craig Ranch at 6045 Alma Road in McKinney will soon have a new tenant. Methodist Craig Ranch Surgery Center will lease 27K SF within the building. The surgery center will have seven operating rooms when it opens in November.

The announcement comes on the heels of Independent Bank announcing developer KDC will build its $52M corporate center in Craig Ranch.

Craig Ranch founder David Craig said he is assessing pricing and offers from two additional office tenants that could build 120K SF and 180K SF offices. Once Craig Ranch’s office space is built out, it could house 20,000 employees, Craig said.

McKinney Methodist Hospital President Joe Minissale said the facility was attractive because the hospital system needed expansion room immediately. It will become the system's third location in addition to Methodist McKinney and Methodist Allen Surgery Center.

With four private rooms, the facility will have overnight stay capabilities. Care will include general surgery, urology, gynecology, orthopedic surgery, otolaryngology, pain management, sports medicine and total joint replacements.
