Dallas has only become more established as a favorable market for data centers in the last several quarters. DatacenterHawk CEO and founder David Liggitt says it's no wonder most companies want offices close to their data. Between continued delivery of appealing office product and a full data center pipeline, Dallas' future looks bright. David thinks a handful of projects will define the next chapter in Dallas' data center market.

Digital Realty's 1210 Integrity in Richardson

With 139k SF, Digital Realty's 69-acre campus sits about as close as you can get to the center of Richardson's Telecom Corridor. After putting about $500M into redeveloping eight old industrial buildings, Digital Realty will deliver initial capacity in Q1 2017. David says with 36MW of power, many companies will find this wholesale data center attractive when it delivers.

RagingWire's TX1 Campus in Garland

After acquiring 42 acres in Garland last September, RagingWire hit the ground running to immediately develop five 200k SF, 16MW centers with wholesale build-to-suit vaults, custom data center buildings, and retail co-location cages and racks. RagingWire is new to the DFW market, but David says lots of capital could make this new operator a power player.

Skybox Legacy in Plano

This 150k SF shell is looking to attract Legacy or large corporate tenants with 25MW of utility power. Skybox will lease on a triple net basis with lots of opportunities to expand the center over time.

Stream Data Centers' Legacy Data Center in Plano

Stream will soon begin construction on a 145k SF shell that is expandable up to 210k SF for a data center in Legacy. David says Stream has a long track record in the space for developing and operating successful projects.
