WINDY CITY SCHMOOZING

No, it's now the windy DFW area, but Chicago. Chilly? No problem. Conflicting with a Bulls game? No big deal for the 400 attendees at Bisnow Chicago's  second annual Booze and Schmooze last night. Fulton's on the River closed off a room and riverwalk access for two hours of open bar and networking. Hot topics: the new casino going up in Des Plaines, Walmart's continuing expansion into the city, and a new glut of investment office building sales in the Chicago CBD. Makes you sort of thirsty for a DFW schmooze, doesn't it? Who makes the best Cosmos in town? That's our burning question.
