| Some 600 CRE golfers proved they're rainmakers on the greens (not just at the office), raising more than $65,000 for the Rise School of Dallas at Cowboys Golf Club, as part of the Brokers Cup Golf Tournament earlier this month. JLL SVP Jeff Eckert (far left) and Grubb & Ellis SVP Russ Johnson (next to Jeff), co-chairs of the Nov. 11 event, gather with Rise School students, parents, staff and Cowboy Cheerleaders (smiling for the camera is second nature for them). Russ tells us the tournament has a 10-year history, evolving into this larger event for the brokerage community to increase fundraising. The school's goal is to provide quality early childhood education services. Jeff says the tourney is an opportunity for all office building property owners (not just their clients) to showcase their buildings to Dallas' office tenant rep brokers.
