Seeking Minority Brokers

DFW brokerages are stepping up to help young minority real estate pros broaden their careers through training and networking as part of Project REAP (Real Estate Associate Program) says Behringer SVP Debra Hadigian (here, with her COO Jason Mattox). Debra says the project provides opportunities and a leg up on making contacts.

Jason tells us program faculty members will be brokers and other leaders who will share their expertise on topics ranging from market and financial analysis and site selection, to development, leasing, and brokerage. Project REAP applicants must have a four-year degree and three to five years of professional work experience. Applications (due by July 22) and more details can be found here. Local organizations contributing faculty to REAP include Behringer, CBRE, Howard Hughes Corp, Emmitt Smith Legacy, Duke Realty, BOMA, NAIOP, ULI, Prescott Group, Corinth Properties, and CREW Dallas.
