We earned an exclusive invite to The Real Estate Council Shooze & Booze event at the chi-chi boutique in Highland Park Village, which meant networking with the ladies, plus champagne and Tory Burch designer shoes and cardigans. The organization has 1,600 members from nearly 500 companies in the DFW area. The Coulter Group’s Juliette Coulter needed the retail therapy after spending the week writing TREC's annual report. Meanwhile, TREC VP Debby Hanson benefited from the break after organizing TREC's Giving Gala, a western-themed event that celebrated giving back to Dallas.

Hart Advisors Group managing   principal  Tanya Little, consultant Joanna James, and RBC Capital Markets Kathy Miller, who oversees a $700M performing commercial real estate loan portfolio, fawned over the shoes. Joanna is working with FDIC  on putting together real estate deals to market. Event summary: more shopping than shop talk going on. Nothing wrong with that.
