Look Who We Found in Lockhart

On our way home from a weekend get-a-way, we found Real Estate Tax Consultants Amish Gupta chowing down on a giant beef rib at one of Lockharts trifecta of BBQ heaven: Blacks Barbecue. And, for the record,he ate it all.It was his first visit and he deemed it delicious. He tells us while it's the appeal season for property taxes in Texas, he managed to get to Austin for a wedding.

As for our short junket--it was the Baylor Alumni Association Diadeloso (day of the bear) at Sea World on Saturday. Then, we headed through Gonzales Sunday to see the "come and take it" cannon, before heading to Black's Barbecue. The brisket may be the tastiest thing we've ever eaten. And, yes, we do allow TCU purple in the house. How do you show your team colors? We want to know. Send us your evidence at tonie@bisnow.com
