Date Night with The O’s in Farmers Branch

Some 500 people called their babysitters and headed out to Farmers Branch on Friday for date night. The first-of-its-kind event in the city gave parents an opportunity to spend the evening out, says Farmers Branch director of Parks and Recreation Jeff Harting. Withfood trucks out en force, folks filled the meadow at the Farmers Branch Historical Park to take in gourmet offerings from cupcakes to sliders, tacos, and more before being entertained by The O's (if you dont know em, YouTube Well Go Walkin, youll be glad you did). Next, there was Clint Eastwoods latest flick under the stars. Do you feel lucky? For a few hours without the kids? You bet, punk.
