The Bond Cos says it's eyeing spring 2017 for the delivery of Kildeer Village Square, the latest project in the firm's 10-year relationship developing retail with the northwest suburb of Kildeer. The 200k SF shopping center is already 90% pre-leased, and construction is expected to be completed by Q2 2017.
Kildeer Village Square is one of two larger-scale shopping centers under construction in the metro Chicago area. It was assembled from 13 land parcels in unincorporated Lake County and will serve the communities of Barrington, Deer Park, Lake Zurich, Kildeer and Long Grove.
Retailers who have signed leases so far include DSW, Nordstrom Rack, the Forever 21 offshoot F21 Red, Nike and Sierra Trading Post. Bond Cos is busy in Chicago redeveloping the former Gonnella Baking site in River West for mixed-use.
