Vince says the focus is on mentoring the 13 younger architects and planners in the office because "our knowledge, we can't take with us.? And that's a lot of knowledge: Vince has worked on Soldier Field, U.S. Cellular Field and the United Center. He worked for a series of small firms and Stein & Co. before he joined forces with old college friend Jim Damato to form zpda in ?98. |
Vince shows us how he separated the Village Board area from the Senior Center in the Sauk Village building, a 19k-SF project the firm completed in November 2008. The firm has also worked on Cicero's Town Hall and a comprehensive plan for South Bend, Indiana. Across the country, it's also served as adviser and architect to Blue Cross Blue Shield, building facilities for it in Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and sweet home Chicago. |
