What Summer Brings

It's finally warm enough outside to complain that it's too hot, and that means two things for the real estate community: Golf and NeoCon! Yesterday, we kicked off the season with a little of both.

 
Bronks Commercial Real Estate and AMCORE Bank teamed up to sponsor their 3rd annual Autism Awareness Golf Outing. The event raised $7k for Keith Sterkowitz, Jr, a Northwest, Indiana, child with autism, and organizers have a goal of $15k over this entire year. Keith SterkowitzSr. stopped in for a picture with Jennifer Bronk, her husband Kevin Veen,  and AMCORE's Dan Stevenson. Off the course, Jennifer says the company is working on leasing Edman Commercial Center and Bronk's Corners in Will County.
 

Phoenix Development's Larry Capistia joined AMCORE's Chris Batson  and Ron Carlson for a round. About 80 golfers took part and 120 stormed for the dinner after. Larry says he's had more time to work on his golf game during the recession, while the folks from AMCORE have been keeping busy on owner occupied properties, even though the investment side is slow.
