MB Real Estate EVP and managing director, corporate services & tenant advisory, Andy Davidson knows "workplace strategy" is today's buzzword as his tenants look for more efficient and open office environments (he'll tell all at our April 25 Chicago State of Office event). Andy's hit list of recent deals includes Astellas' 446k SF build-to-suit HQ in Northbrook and Coyote Logistics' 166k SF in the Green Exchange Building. He can vouch for offices' downtown migration, but says sectors like healthcare and education that need to be near the customer will keep the suburbs chugging along. (You'd hate to have to sit in city traffic to get your tooth pulled.) If you can't find Andy working the deals in Chicago, he's cooking dinner on the farm he renovated in Michigan.
