| Construction on City Winery Chicago at 1200 W Randolph St in the West Loop is under way. The refrigerated-food warehousebuilt early in the 20th century is being renovated, and a two-story, 5,000 SF addition will go up in the courtyard with a 30-foot-high glass curtain wall. The 33k SF facility will open in August. Summit Design + Build’s David Brown and Chuck Schmidt will oversee construction of the Christopher Warnick Architecture and Phillip Katz Project Development project. | ||
Krusinski Construction Co installed a 52-foot, 125-pound sterilization chamber for Sterigenics in Willowbrook. Julius Kwasek of Kwasek Architects provided design services. *** ARCO/Murray National Construction Co completed a 30k SF renovation for US Cellular at 100 Mittel Dr in Wood Dale. Mike Gaw was project manager and Chris Niedhammer the project executive. *** J.C. Anderson completed a 12k SF interior buildout for Jackson Lewis' expansion in the Smurfit-Stone Building (150 N Michigan Ave). Joe Maguire was the project manager and Bob Hickey the project superintendent. Gensler Architects and Studley were also involved. *** J.C. Anderson will also do a 50k SF buildout for DePaul University's College of Commerce at One E Jackson. Steve Boulukos will lead the team.
