| Grubb & Ellis' newest team member Bob Herber is focusing his work in the 312, after moving from Equity Office Properties, which sold its Chicago portfolio in 2007. Bob is working with Grubb's five-person Agency Leasing team on doubling the current portfolio of 4.2M-SF in the CBD over the next five years. He followed former EOP teammates Linda Garske and Jason Streepy, who came to Grubb in '06 and tells us he's looking forward to working on a team with some of the stars of Chicago agency leasing. | |
| It's a reunion of sorts: Bob's first job in commercial real estate was at Grubb in 1991, so he already knows about 60% of his colleagues. At EOP, Bob managed a portfolio of 3.2M-SF in 11 different markets, and he plans to use an owner's mindset to create value and grow Grubb's Chicago portfolio. He'll also work with Chicago managing director Shawn Mobley and local market leaders to create agency leasing strategies throughout Grubb's Central and Northeast regions. An enthusiastic Chicagoan, Bob enjoys spending his free time chasing his three kids around the city. |
