| Ted Moudis & Associates is replicating its power office in New York here in Chicago. (We snapped Janice Fellows, Diana Pisone, Paul Darby, Laura Operti, and Ted Moudisearlier this month.) Previously, the team had subleased a space from a client in the South Loop, but now the dozen architects are renting at the 1929 LaSalle Wacker building . They designed their own 5,000 SF space, which they chose because of its location near the Merchandise Mart and its historic building status, which Ted likes. | |
| The office is designed with an eye toward open spaceand collaboration, with groups of four architects sharing one table in the center of their workspace. The team also tried to include materials from several different manufacturers to show off different products to clients or potential clients. And like their NYC digs, Ted wants to open up the space to organizations looking to hold events or network. |
