Scott and Krystal Kurinsky

Bear Construction EVP Scott Kurinsky met MB Real Estate SVP Krystal in 1997 when she was managing the then Time Life Building at 541 N Fairbanks. He was a 28-year-old project manager for Bear and she a newly minted property manager with Miglin Beitler. “In 1999, we went out for a couple innocent beers… which turned out not so innocently,” he jokes. The couple married in 2003 and Krystal’s currently GM at 181 W Madison, MBRE’s HQ.

Here they are circa 2000. The pair has managed to keep working together all these years thanks to Scott’s mantra, “I’d never change order my wife.” About once a month one of them gets, “Hey are you related to…?” and they’ve also been accused of being brother and sister on more than one occasion. The couple rides the Metra to and from Palatine together each day and loves to travel to their Wisconsin cabin and all around the country.
