Former Salvation Army In Chicago's West Town
The three-acre West Loop campus The Salvation Army has called home for nearly a century is heading to the market. The property at 1515 W Monroe is available because the charity is moving into the all-new Freedom Center in West Humboldt Park this autumn. The Salvation Army is leaving the West Loop because the cost to maintain and repair the current campus would be more expensive than replacing it, Curbed Chicago reports.
