For those of you already missing Vegas, here's the Crossroads Development and SVN Crossroads team at RECon: Michael Nortman, Lee Kotler, Wes Rehwoldt, and Kirsten Helma. The convention was so upbeat that people must have erased 2007 to 2012 from their memories, Michael jokes. (Just in case, we have the Facebook photos to prove it happened.) Crossroads just finished building an LA Fitness in Edgewater. They'll soon deliver a medical office building in the same neighborhood, and should kick off construction in Northbrook on a Mariano's-anchored shopping center and 347 apartments in the next 30 days. (Not to mention a 350-unit apartment project under construction in Jupiter, Fla.) Michael says financing is relatively easy where there are good sponsors and tenants. Now that it's warmed up, he'll be golfing and taking his three kids (3, 6, and 9) swimming.
