A vote on whether a medical marijuana dispensary could open near Superdawg was tabled until August at the request of Ald. Anthony Napolitano. Union Group of Illinois wants to open the dispensary at 6428-30 N Milwaukee but the 41st Ward Alderman wants more time for the community to weigh the merits of the proposal. Without a special use permit, Union Group fears the state could take back its license to operate a dispensary, according to DNAInfo.
