| Hamilton Partners' Todd Berlinghof, Greg Winner, and James Sheridan said they're seeing a lot of opportunities for 2011 and 2012. Near-term, they're listing space at Willowbrook Festival in Northbrook, Aurora Commons in Aurora, and Berkshire Place in Plainfield. They say many retailers are no longer looking for space for 2010 since the holiday season is approaching. | |
| We caught up with Jameson Commercial's Deena Zimmerman,Adam Napp, and Andrew Magliochetti at Next Realty's afterparty at District Bar in River North. Deena just joined Jameson when her previous company's commercial division was acquired, bringing the firm up to 30 commercial brokers, which they've promised to tell us more about later this week. | |
| We also snapped Jibway Development's Bruce Michael and Gledhill Properties' Thomas and Lizzie Gledhill. Bruce is in town from Troy, Mich. and he says the retail climate in Chicago is much healthier. He owns a few retail spaces in the Chicago area, including one in the West Loop. |
