Davis to Fill 900 North Mich Void

That empty feeling isn't anything a retail property wants, so JMB Realty Corp recently tapped Davis Street Land Co to lease 225k SF of vacant space at 900 N Michigan, plus 45k SF of adjacent ground-level properties. Davis Street leasing exec Karen Land tells us that one of her goals is to attract new tenants that will appeal to the building's strong residential customer base—high-end local customers who regularly visit anchor Bloomingdale'sand other stores—as opposed to a base of mostly out-of-town shoppers. Karen says that a number of new leases are in the works, including with new-to-market domestic and international retailers.
