| Unsure whether Nebraska should've been invited, the Big Ten Real Estate Forum (alum from those schools who also work in real estate) gathered at the East Bank Club to talk workouts with panelists including Wells Fargo's Paul Sori and US Bank's Don Pafford. Don says US Bank recently bid on four local portfolios and has seen many other institutions bidding as well. Most borrowers are focusing now on the larger institutions, which he says will only lend for well-stabilized, occupied assets. (We've heard that idea often nowadays. Might it rival the Ohio State/Michigan game in cultural importance?) |
